20th October. Spanish gathering. Culture club.

DATE FOR YOUR DIARY - WED. 20 OCT.

Dear Friend of the Society,

Thank you to all those who attended the Get Together on September 29. We all enjoyed the talk given by Arturo on Monterrey. We now know much more about that city.

The next gathering in CultureClub (www.cultureclub.com.hk), 15, Elgin Street (lower), Soho District, Central, will be held on 20th of October from 7 p.m. onwards. Please may I emphasize that the function works far better if people come early. In some cases coming later is unavoidable, but in most it is not. The event is always an enjoyable social occasion, but it must be remembered that the prime purpose is to provide an environment where people can use their Spanish. The more participants there are from the beginning, the more comfortable everyone feels.

Having said that, I cannot be at the next meeting owing to having to be at a school camp. Hence, I hope it will be very successful and as many people turn up as possible. At present no one has offered to give a talk. If you are able and willing, please let me know and I'll inform everyone in the reminder e-mail.

Saludos,

Chris Stubbs

Member of the Society
